1.What is Dakshinpay?

Dakshinpay is a app which we can shop now and pay later. Just download the Dakshinpay App and discover your unique credit limit. Dakshinpay credit limit can be increased upto Rs 10,000 with an easy digital process. Use your credit limit to pay later for your shopping online across 100+ of your favorite apps , UPI, utility bills. All your payments and EMIs are consolidated in a single statement. You need to pay only a single bill on the 3rd and 18th of each month.

2.What are the benefits of using Dakshinpay?

Dakshinpay is the fastest and simplest way to make payment. The speed of payment ensures that you never miss out on your favorite products or your favorite movie. What’s more, you need not pay us in advance. Just pay us after you have availed the service.

3.HOW DO I BECOME ELIGIBLE FOR THIS?

All salaried & Self-employed with decent amount of earnings and excellent credit record.

4.WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM CREDIT LIMIT I CAN GET?

Credit limit depends upon your credit eligibility.

5.Where can I view my available credit limit?

You can check your Dakshinpay credit limit here OR on your Dakshinpay home screen. Dakshinpay is offering Buy Now Pay Later, Extented credit limit.

6.How is my spending limit determined?

Your spending limit is initially set by default. But once you start using Dakshinpay , the limit is constantly updated based on a few major factors. How regularly you repay: Regular and prompt repayment is the most important factor in updating your spending limit. If you’re quick and consistent in settling your dues with Dakshinpay , your spending limit increases over time. Needless to say, consistently failing to do so will have the opposite effect. Your spending habits: The spending limit will mirror your purchasing habits. If your spending increases steadily, the limit will go up too. Using the Dakshinpay app: The Dakshinpay app lets us carry out further verifications based on data available on the phone. For example, based on your transactional SMS messages, Dakshinpay can increase your spending limit to match your overall spending. The strength of your profile: A strong profile allows us to verify your identity, and get to know you better. Dakshinpay uses this information to increase your spending limit.

7.Does Dakshinpay do anything if someone doesn’t pay?

If a payment isn’t made by the due date, Dakshinpay can charge a late penalty of up to Rs. 280+ applicable taxes (GST). In case a user informs us about any issue s/he is facing, we will withhold the late penalty. Or reverse it, depending on the situation. Users are also notified multiple times via Email, SMS and other reminder notifications before the penalty is levied. We hate hidden charges as much as you. In case you're facing any issue, do drop us a message, and we'll get back to you at the earliest and have it resolved

9.How does Dakshinpay's billing cycle work?

Your Dakshinpay bill is generated twice a month.
All your transactions between 1st and 15th are added into one bill, which is generated on the 16th All transactions made between 16th and30th or31st are added into one bill, which is generated on, you guessed it, 1st Of course, you can choose to pay for your transactions even before your bill is generated. You can do so by logging into your account via our website or app.

10.Is there any EMI option to repay the due amount?

yes we do have the option of paying due amount in installments.

11.IS KYC MANDATORY TO USE ‘SCAN & PAY’?

Yes, only successful KYC users would be able to use Scan & Pay feature.

12.HOW CAN I CONTACT DAKSHINPAY?

13.HOW DO I CANCEL MY ORDER?

DakshinPay is just a payment mode provided to the customers and does not guarantee delivery of goods or services. For queries regarding service/refund/order cancellation, please contact the merchant* directly.

14.WHERE TO SEE MY CASHBACK CREDITED?

You can view your cashback in your DakshinPay account under transactions tab in your DakshinPay App. Please note that your cashback will be immediately adjusted in your current outstanding amount. If you have already paid your dues, you can use this amount for next purchases with DakshinPay.

15.WHY AM I UNABLE TO VIEW CASHBACK IN MY ACCOUNT?

Login to your DakshinPay account with your registered credentials. The cashback amount credited would be adjusted in the DakshinPay outstanding amount for next purchases at dakshinPay. It should reflect in the outstanding amount tab on your dashboard. If the cashback still does not reflect in your account, you may contact us.

16.How is the EMI overdue charge calculated?

You have an installment due of Rs 5000 on 3rd May and you aren’t able to repay this. We will add an overdue charge every day after the 4th. The charge added per day will be 10+Gst. The same charge will be added for each day that you don’t repay.

17.WHEN WILL CASHBACK BE CREDITED IN MY DAKSHINPAY ACCOUNT?

Cashback is credited into your DakshinPay account within 2 working days (Excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays) of the transactions you were done, please note that your cashback will be immediately adjusted into your current outstanding amount. If you have already paid your dues, you can use this amount for next purchase with DakshinPay.

18.I placed an order using Dakshinpay, when will I receive the order?

Dakshinpay is just a payment mode provided to the customers and does not guarantee delivery of goods or services. For queries regarding service/refund/order cancellation, you must contact the merchant.

19.I am waiting for refund from the merchant. When will I receive it?

Please contact the merchant for any query related to refund. Please note that we are just a payment service provider

20.How does Part Payment work and what are the charges?

Part payment gives you the option to make a partial payment of your bill and carry forward the remaining amount. If you get an option to pay a partial amount on the app, this feature is activated for you. Here’s how it works: You can pay a minimum amount due, or any amount lesser than the total due, and carry forward the remaining amount. The minimum amount due is 30% of total due amount as per your statement The remaining amount is then added to the next billing cycle with 1.5% carry forward interest charges on the outstanding balance due. The 1.5% interest is separate from the late fees. If you have a pending bill, and if you haven’t made any payment at all, you will be charged both the late fee and a carry forward interest. 21.Is there any EMI option to repay the due amount?

Yes, you can convert due amount in Emi to repay your due amount in installments

22.How I can convert EMI from my spending limit?

This is very simple, just choose your amount & pick your installment tenure. Confirm your monthly EMI amount, processing fee. Reconfirm your details What is the interest that I need to pay? Interest varies between 15 to 32% pa, depending on the amount & tenure of your repayment period

23.How to repay the outstanding/due amount?

There are multiple ways by which you can repay your outstanding or due amounts:
1. On the website – Select the ‘Pay Bill’ tab available on the home page www.Dakshinpay.in . Enter your registered details and OTP received. Click on Pay Now.
2. From email/SMS – We regularly send you email & SMS notifications for repaying your dues, you can click on the “Pay Now” button in the email or click on the link in the SMS message. (Tip: you can save the link from your SMS for future repayments as well)
3. On the mobile app – Download Dakshinpay App from Play Store or App store. Click on the Dakshinpay tab available at the bottom, click on the ‘Pay Now’ button.

24.I did not receive cashback?

ashback is credited in your Dakshinpay account within 2 days (Excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays) of you doing the transaction. 26.I am getting PAN verification error

The PAN details submitted by you didn’t match with those saved on the government’s PAN database. Kindly enter your Name, DOB & PAN number as mentioned on your PAN card.

27. How Does Autopay Work?

You authorize Dakshinpay to debit your bill amount automatically from your chosen payment method.You will be notified at least once before the amount is debited. Dakshinpay will send you the notification on the day the bill is generated, informing you about the bill amount. Your total bill will be autopaid using the chosen payment method in the next 3 days.

28. What Are The Autopay Limits For DAKSHIN PAY Bills?

For Autopay, Dakshinpayl maintains a Rs. 500 mandate limit and frequency as "as presented". This limit is in accordance with the old Autopay limits as specified in the RBI Regulations, 2021.

29. What If Wrong Amount Is Charged From My Account?

We take payment issues very seriously. You can visit our Contact us (or) customercare@dakshinpay.com anytime to raise an issue and we will provide a quick resolution.

30. What If I Want To Disable Autopay?

You can visit our Contact us (or) customercare@dakshinpay.com and disable autopay anytime you want. In case, you wish to revoke the mandate, you can do so from the UPI App in case of Debit card autopay and from the Net Banking website in case of ENach mandates.

31. Will I Be Informed Before Money Is Debited From My Account?

We will send you at least one notification before debiting money from your account. The notification is sent at least one day prior to the debit informing you about the bill details.

32. What Is Autopay?

Autopay is a payment option in which Dakshinpay bills will be paid automatically each cycle using payment methods like Debit card or net banking (eNACH).

33.Is Dakshinpay interest-free?

Yes, it is! You can enjoy your approved Dakshinpay amount for a 15-days interest-free period, after which you’ll have to pay your dues on time. If you repay your bills by the due date of every cycle, you’ll not be charged interest.

34. Convenience fee

A flat 2% convenience fee + 18% GST will apply on all DakshinPay transactions, payable at the time of repayment of dues. Eg. for Rs. 100 spent, Total Payable amount =Rs.100 + Rs.2 + Rs. 0.18 (GST) = Rs. 102.36 Contact us:customercare@dakshinpay.com

Is the Dakshinpay app free?

Yes, of course it’s free! Both Android and Apple users can download the app.

What is convenience fee?

A convenience fee of up to 2% (+GST on the convenience fee amount) will be applicable on the amount used during the cycle. This shall be payable at the time of repayment of dues. You can check your convenience fee on the app.

35. Why can’t I create an account?

Uh-oh! There could be a number of reasons for not being able to create a Dakshinpay account. One of the most likely causes is that our servers may be under maintenance. The only thing you can really do is wait for a while and then try again in a few hours!

If you keep facing the same problem even after repeated attempts, you can write to our team at customercare@dakshinpay.com and attach the screenshots of your error message as well.

36. How can I get my account unblocked?

There are multiple reasons as to why your account got blocked. You can write to our team at customercare@dakshinpay.com and attach the screenshots of the error you are facing as well. We will work swiftly to rectify it!

37. My account has been blocked after Aadhaar verification. Please help.

It looks like your Aadhaar Number may have been flagged. Unfortunately, you’ll not be able to make any transactions. We may have to reevaluate this from our end to be absolutely sure. Please write to our team at customercare@dakshinpay.com mentioning your registered email ID as well as your phone number along with a scanned copy of your Aadhaar card attached to the email as well. We’ll look into this at the earliest.

38. My scan now pay later feature is temporarily disabled. What should I do?

Your account may have been blocked due to an internal policy. Please write to our team at customercare@dakshinpay.com mentioning your registered email ID and phone number.

39. I don’t want to use Dakshinpay anymore. How do I delete my account?

“We are so sorry to hear that! If you’re unhappy with the Dakshinpay app, please tell us what didn’t work for you at customercare@dakshinpay.com.We’d like a chance to improve your experience.If you still wish to delete your Dakshinpay account, all you have to do is pay off your dues and uninstall the app from your phone. Use any of the following ways:

  1. Long-press on the Dakshinpay app icon > Click on the app info button > Press Uninstall
  2. Go to your phone settings > Go to Apps & notifications > Dakshinpay App info > Press Uninstall
  3. Open the Google Play Store. Search for Dakshinpay. Press ‘Uninstall’.
  4. Open the Apple App Store. Search for Dakshinpay. Press ‘Uninstall’.

40. Why did my application get rejected?

The approval of your Dakshinpay depends on many things. Two of them are credit history and repayment behaviour. Our team carefully reviews your application and if it does not match certain criteria, your profile may get rejected. Don’t worry; you can still reapply after 3 months from your last application date.

41. I want to change some profile details - phone number, email ID, or/and name. How can I do that?

42. I'm not able to scan and pay through the app. Why?

This is possibly occurring due to technical issues. Please write to our team at customercare@dakshinpay.com attaching screenshots of the error you’re seeing on the app. Do mention your registered email ID and phone number. We’ll help you out as soon as possible.

43. My transaction is still stuck in a 'pending' state. What should I do?

44. I can’t log in to Dakshinpay. What can I do to solve this?

45. I'm not getting an OTP to log in or sign up. Please help.

48. The app says that my PAN card already exists. I’m unable to move further.

“This error generally occurs when you’ve already registered with the app, and you try to register again with a different email ID and phone number but the same PAN. The error message should include the last four digits of the previously registered phone number.
